Disaster Preparedness and Response

PHILRADS prepares and responds to disasters and calamities by equipping local churches with technical expertise on disaster prevention, mitigation, preparedness and response, and providing counterpart resources for relief operation.

Rehabilitation Programs

PHILRADS followsup its relief response through housing, livelihood, medical, and other assistance to disaster victims to facilitate recovery and restoration to pre-disaster condition.

Community Development

PHILRADS moves beyond relief to development. It puts premium in implementing sustainable development programs, including long term poverty alleviation projects in depressed or disaster-stricken communities.

Leadership and Institutional Development

PHILRADS strengthens local churches as partners in holistic ministry. It trains and equips local people on organizing and leadership building. It develops and strengthens community-based organizations into strong and functioning institutions.

Research

PHILRADS provides evangelicals with data-base information on needs of churches and status of their ministry with respect to meeting total needs of people. It documents projects and programs implementation to record significant learning on their content, process and impact. It also provides information on current trends in the socio-political and economic situation of the nation.
